With an impressive two decades of experience in the industry, Lola Star isn't just a voice; she’s a symphony of vocal talent, a maestro in the art of communication. 

 

Born Indira Wilburn, a native Chicagoan best known as “Lola Star,” is an American media personality, voiceover talent and facilitator. She possesses a unique, captivating, unmatched sultry voice in radio and television broadcasting. 

 

Indira's passion for the craft has allowed her to make valuable contributions in the multimedia arena, which include radio, television, countless national commercials, video narrations, and corporate IVR recordings. 


Indira developed herself as a charismatic, comical, fun-loving personality who can entertain a wide range of audiences. She is recognized for her on-air persona, which is remarkably reflective of her character. 


She began her career in radio at WQHH-FM in Lansing, Michigan. Later, she embarked on the expansion of her career in television production while working as a TV studio producer for PhillyCAM. Additionally, she created, produced and served as casting director for two TV pilots: Uncommon Transformations, and Twenty-One. 


Several years down the road, Indira made a triumphant comeback to the airwaves. With On the Reel Radio, she stepped into the role of the charismatic health correspondent. A few years later, Indira assumed the role of the mastermind behind the scenes, orchestrating the production of The Greenpreneur Show. 


It is no surprise that Indira is capable of intellectually discussing complex subject matters, as she holds a Master of Science in Television Management and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
